Current Positions

The following positions require union membership. Union membership is not required to apply for any of the positions, but will be required within 30 days of employment. There is a probationary period during which the hourly wage is 85% of the hourly wage. On-Call positions do not work a regular schedule; hours will vary from 0-40 hours per week

 

Security Officer Full-Time

Hourly Wage $19.69.  Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Convention Center facility, property and occupants through security patrol and the monitoring of security systems. The Officer must also provide information and respond to Convention Center guests in a customer service oriented manner. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of security officer experience.

Security Officer On-Call

Hourly Wage $18.88.  Security Officers are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Convention Center facility, property and occupants through security patrol and the monitoring of security systems. The Officer must also provide information and respond to Convention Center guests in a customer service oriented manner. This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of security officer experience. May work 0-40 hours per week and must be available flexible hours including weekends, evenings and nights.
